Verdict

This looks like it will boil down to scrap between CAPE CAVALLI and Monica Sheriff, with the first named, who sets a good standard on the official BHA ratings, looking the most likely to prevail on these terms. The fitting of cheekpieces can give the Cape Cross filly the boost that's been missing in her recent starts and she looks worth another throw of the dice now she's dropped back in trip. Monica Sheriff relished the ground at Haydock when last seen and can give the selection plenty think about if she's raring to go after her short break. Lucy Lou and Roving Mission appeal as the best of the rest and neither has much to find to snatch a place in the frame.
  1. Cape Cavalli
  2. Monica Sheriff
  3. Lucy Lou
