Verdict

There was lots to like about Group 2 Gimcrack stakes entry MASTER MCGRATH's debut at Ayr and with more to come now he can give trainer Kevin Ryan a ninth two-year-old winner of the campaign. Sir Michael Stoute's Vasari ran well on debut and may prove the sternest opposition to the selection although Colonel Whitehead's latest effort is also form good enough to play a part.
  1. Master McGrath
  2. Vasari
  3. Colonel Whitehead
