COURT DUTY was raised 7lb for his neck win last time, which seems harsh, but he was on his way to a comfortable win prior to blundering badly at the last so is probably value for more than the narrow margin suggests. He can complete his mid-summer hat-trick at the main expense of the mare Northern Beau, who was in in good form in the spring and returns from a break still fairly handicapped. Braavos is also very much in the mix and might have won but for an error at the last at Cartmel last time out. Land League is still unexposed over fences and a bold show cannot be ruled out off an appealing mark.
