The trainer has landed this race in two of the last four years and this son of Heron Island can see off the attentions of British raider Azzuri for the Dan Skelton yard, the Enda Bolger-trained Auvergnat and Pravalaguna for trainer Willie Mullins. Trainer Gordon Elliott has won the Plate in two of the last three renewals and his Gigginstown House Stud pair of Mengli Khan and Barra should not be underestimated.
