Verdict

Despite the large field this doesn’t look overly competitive with the key to this race looking to be the 2m4f handicap hurdle that CELTIC SALLY and Theatre Act contested at Uttoxeter last time where both were rather caught out by the positive ride given to the winner (Mrs Miggins). There’s not much difference in the weights but the third is taken to reverse the form with the second with both having their usual headgear returned. Of the others Lakeside Pearl should appreciate this return to 3m with Diamond Rose attempting to complete the hat-trick but does have a new trip and another rise in the weights to cope with. My Mums Posh is the one to note in the betting on her handicap debut.
  1. Celtic Sally
  2. Theatre Act
  3. My Mums Posh
