Verdict

The one with the standout form in the book is PHOENIX OPEN who finished third behind a consistent handicapper in the shape of Balefire at Cork back in May, and now makes his handicap debut off a mark which should be well within his reach. The step up in trip should eek out more from this son of Scat Daddy and he can get off to the perfect star to life in this sphere. Insane Bolt has already made his presence felt since switched to handicaps and produced another solid effort last time and can go well back on forecast better ground. At what are likely to be large odds it would be a surprise were Castle Chase not able to step up on what he has shown in maidens.
  1. Phoenix Open
  2. Insane Bolt
  3. Castle Chase
