Verdict

This looks quite a competitive heat for the grade with the blinkered first-time handicap newcomer Funny Man one of the more interesting candidates and any market support should be noted. Stone Cougar (stable do well here) and Dear Miriam both look as though they are candidates to win handicaps at this level over staying trips and enter the equation. OLIVER HARDY needed every yard of the 1m2f trip to score here last time and this extra 2f is likely to see him in a much better light with just a 3lb rise in the weights to cope with. Highway Robbery improved last time but has to prove that he can reproduce that form on turf.
  1. Oliver Hardy
  2. Dear Miriam
  3. Funny Man
