Verdict

APLOMB looked a sure-fire future winner at Ascot and didn't have things go her way at Musselburgh, so is well worth another chance to confirm previous promise. Shallow Hal ran well enough at York on Saturday, and will find this much easier, so looks next best, with James Watt, who will appreciate the step up in trip after staying on well at Windsor last time, completing the shortlist.
  1. Aplomb
  2. Shallow Hal
  3. James Watt
