Goshen absolutely hacked up at Brighton last week, so under a 6lb penalty (is due an 11lb rise) he'll never have a better chance of following up. However, without a shadow of doubt he'll be over-bet and start at very cramped odds, so we'll seek some each-way value instead.

Hummdinger filled the first two places in a Class 6 handicap at Salisbury (1m4f) three weeks ago but for those prepared to look in behind, the fifth-placed
SPRING RUN was also sticking on with a degree of purpose. Having dropped 3lb in the handicap and now upped in trip to 1m6f on a softer surface, she could feasibly run a big race for the much respected Jonathan Portman.
