Verdict

Cold Harbour is enjoying a good time of things at present after a win over C&D which he backed up with a good run on turf at Doncaster in a better contest. He is certainly the form horse but preference is for BASILDON. The memory of his debut victory over 2m at Newcastle is hard to banish and he hasn't been seen to best effect trip-wise since then. The step back up in trip & switch to handicaps is precisely what he needs and he is a confident selection. Ceyhan hasn't ran on the flat for over a year but had been running well in this company prior to a short stint over hurdles and is an interesting runner running off the same mark as he did when winning at Chelmsford.
  1. Basildon
  2. Cold Harbour
  3. Ceyhan
