Verdict

Blue Rambler is a solid performer and he comes here off a good effort at Doncaster (second) but he hasn't made a habit of winning races and might settle for minor money off top-weight. Elysees appeals from this mark on his best stuff while Knight Crusader commands plenty respect after a near miss at Nottingham. FLINTROCK ran a nice race behind Agrapart at Ascot on first try over 2m a fortnight ago. A quicker surface will suit and, with Joshua Bryan now able to claim 3lb, the unexposed stayer can have a big say in an open event having dropped in class.
  1. Flintrock
  2. Knight Crusader
  3. Blue Rambler
