Verdict

Quite an interesting closing bumper with only one of the field having run before that one being Bonsai Bay who will have to be on better behaviour than he was when unseating his rider via a swerve at Market Rasen last time. Both Major Dundee and Amelia’s Dance make plenty of appeal on the stable’s that they come from and on their pedigrees with neither stable being short of debut bumper winners. HIGH FORT is perhaps the most intriguing runner in the field though given how much he cost as a younger horse; his pedigree shows that he should have some speed and the Karen McLintock yard certainly know how to prepare a horse first-time in a bumper.
  1. High Fort
  2. Major Dundee
  3. Amelia's Dance
