Given that Alan King’s mare
Giving Back was deemed good enough to run in a Grade 2 mares’ bumper at Aintree it was rather disappointing to see her well beaten on her hurdling debut. Her two bumper wind came on AW surfaces and there may be a doubt about her ability on turf and it may well be safer to side with
HENRIETTA BELL. She looked as though she could do with a little further on her hurdles debut and her bumper form would have been below that of her main rival however a positive ride would see her to good advantage here. The others are a modest crew with
Celtic Sally and
Miss Brooklyn the pick of the remaining quintet.
