Verdict

The focus should be exclusively on those towards the top-end of the handicap. Mrs Vonn was a winner at Kelso on her penultimate start, and ran reasonably well since when finishing fourth to Reverse The Charge off her revised mark over this C&D (form is working out well). However, the frustrating TRUCKERS TANGLE won't have many better winning opportunities than this race, so assuming that the application of cheekpieces serves to sharpen his focus even a fraction, then the prize is likely to be heading back south to the Somerset base of trainer Alex Dunn (1-5; 20% at Hexham prior to tonight's action).
  1. Truckers Tangle
  2. Mrs Vonn
  3. Kitty Fisher
