This could be a good opportunity for ISTIMAAR to expand on his yard's winning record in this race and the in-form gelding looks to have been well placed make this a good test for the rest. The Herds Garden will be a big threat if he's allowed to set his own tempo and the old man of the party looks worth a small investment to be the main danger in a race which lacks any stand out performer. Haasab likes this course and gets on well with Tabbath Worsley and is another to bear in mind, while Compatriot doesn't have too much to find from just 4lb above his last winning mark and has his claims boosted by the presence of the champion jockey being in the saddle.
