Verdict

Master Of Reality produced something more like what might have been expected as he fended off his rivals to win the Vintage Crop at Naas on reappearance for Joseph O'Brien. He was game and while he might keep the likes of runner-up Twilight Payment (fourth) at bay again this could be more to the liking of CAPRI (fifth). He went off favourite that day and should be sharper this evening, while the former St Leger also gets a handy 5lb from his conqueror. The fly in the ointment could be Dermot Weld's lightly-raced Falcon Eight, making his just his fourth start but seemingly full of promise as a stayer with Classic ambitions this season.
  1. Capri
  2. Falcon Eight
  3. Master Of Reality
