Verdict

A very winnable seller in which plenty can be safely discounted. Kickham Street isn't necessarily the best treated by the weights but the application of a hood (also wears cheekpieces today) has led to an upturn in fortunes of sorts. Both Alicia Darcy and Parion have leading claims in this grade on the strength of their better efforts, although neither has entirely convinced more latterly. Therefore, with the ground described as on the soft side of good, we'll opt for the Fibresand winner SCALE FORCE with trainer Gay Kelleway operating a 25% strike-rate (2-8) at this East Yorkshire venue over the past five years.
  1. Scale Force
  2. Kickham Street
  3. Parion
