Potterman would need it to remain dry, Silver Kayf's' connections will be hoping for a downpour, whilst Sternrubin ran a big race in the mud at Aintree and enters calculations. Last year's winner Cultivator will go close if on song as will his stable companion Tale Of The Tweed who returns from a layoff. Stable form prompts closer attention is paid to Espoir De Teillee, but COMRADE CONRAD exploited a good mark for a C&D victory and it is reported a physical problem was behind a loss of form. He looks a worthy selection given he has run well off higher marks in the past.
