Verdict

Sizing Coal will be looking to retain his title, winning this contest 12 months ago beating FENNO'S STORM a head. The eight-year-old can put the record straight at the expense of last years winner and the Gordon Elliott-trained Ucello Conti in first-time cheekpieces and the Aintree Foxhunters third Road To Riches. The 14-year-old, On The Fringe demands respect and may need a couple of these to falter, but the veteran will be a willing partner for jockey Derek O'Connor.
  1. Fenno's Storm
  2. Ucello Conti
  3. Road To Riches
