Verdict

There appears to be plenty of dead wood in this race so BORDER VICTOR should make a bold bid to return to the winners' enclosure after some solid performances of late. Alfie Corbett cost a pretty penny but hasn't shown much so far. He moves into handicap company though so it would not surprise to see him produce a better display, while It's All About Me has a squeak although his rider is very inexperienced. Pray For A Rainbow, Ask Paddy, and the top weight Phoebus Lescribaa are others who are worth checking out in a modest heat.
  1. Border Victor
  2. Alfie Corbitt
  3. Ask Paddy
