Verdict

Not a bad race for the grade with Napoleon Blue and Whereyounow both winners last time and young enough to defy their respective rises. At the other end of the age spectrum, See Double You, seeks to exploit a handicap anomaly that seems him better treated over hurdles than fences even though there has been nothing between the marks previously. However, this looks likely to rest between the powerhouses of Elliot and O'Brien who are represented by DARK DECADE and Leave Your Mark respectively. The latter has improved with each run and may take some beating, but the selection receives 5lb and his first run over this trip in a handicap has been eagerly anticipated.
  1. Dark Decade
  2. Leave Your Mark
  3. Whereyounow
