Verdict

The Lincoln aside, this is by far the most competitive 1m handicap of the turf season so far, and a race which should yield any number of future winners. Unexposed horses worth keeping on side of include Markazi, New Graduate and Rise Hall, but there are others who make even more appeal. Any sustained market support for Qaysar could prove illuminating, whilst the Les Eyre-trained Dawaaleeb has already proved to be a shrewd purchase, and should benefit immeasurably from a run at Doncaster. However, if there is to be a Group performer lurking, it's almost certainly the returning BOWERMAN (Roger Varian) who has done nothing other than impress thus far.
  1. Bowerman
  2. Qaysar
  3. Dawaaleeb
