Verdict

MASARU, who is out of a half-sister to classy sprinter Swiss lake, was a comfortable winner on debut last season and was then a well backed favourite for a valuable race at York last August. This is a lot easier than that Knavesmire assignment and the colt can get his season off to a flyer if he's trained on. You Little Ripper posted an improved effort last time and is respected as a big threat to the selection, while Cristal Breeze appeals on breeding and is an interesting debutante to note in the betting.
