Verdict

Respect has to be given to Sam Red especially given the fact that he was winning a Cheltenham handicap chase some six months ago but there must be some doubt as to whether he can replicate that sort of performance now. Herbert Park has already proved himself around here in this sphere and his recent pointing second was franked by the winner recently his temperament remains a question mark. Glen Roe is very much the unknown quantity but a repeat of his Hexham hurdles run would see him go close. DICKY BOB hasn’t had much experience under Rules but his point-to-point form makes him the pick of this bunch especially his recent 25L hammering of Heaney.
  1. Dicky Bob
  2. Glen Roe
  3. Herbert Park
