Forecasts

Scotch Quay (11/4), Percy B Shelley (10/3), Sillogue Pio (5/1), The Chapel Field (11/2), Taggle Og (7/1), Sir Pimpernel (7/1), Soul Season (8/1), Fly De Megaudais (14/1), Constable Buckley (14/1), Captain Cobajay (16/1), Lesssaidthebetter (16/1), White Lotus (16/1), Tsarina Sophia (25/1), Russellstown (25/1), Onefortherose (28/1), Amber And Black (33/1), Mangan Julia (66/1)

Verdict

This is terribly poor and affords SCOTCH QUAY an excellent opportunity to follow up an easy Clonmel success when today's headgear produced an improve display. An 8lb rise does not seem excessive and he looks the obvious choice. A market move for any of his rivals would have to be heeded as there could be a few of these who are ready to improve on what they have shown hitherto. Onefortherose, The Chapel Field and Sillogue Pio are three who would have to be taken seriously if there was any sign of positivity in pre-race trading.
  1. Scotch Quay
  2. The Chapel Field
  3. Onefortherose
