Verdict

A low-key opener in which previous Southwell form (or solid form in general) is in very short supply. Therefore, despite being turned over in a three-runner affair in early March, the logical choice is the dual course winner DOLLY DUPREE. She's reunited with the 5lb claimer Theodore Ladd (2-2 aboard), and has twice come out on top of today's rival Sylviacliffs in the past. Others with scope to do better include Your Mothers' Eyes and Act of Magic, although the drop back in trip doesn't appear to be a perfect match for the latter.
  1. Dolly Dupree
  2. Your Mothers' Eyes
  3. Sylviacliffs
