Verdict

Dan Skelton has a 2-2 record in this opening event and he looks sure to go close again via the revitalised Peppay Le Pugh who may well get this race run to suit around a course that is ideal for his run style. Airton and Petit Palais are two ex-Flat stayers who have already made their mark over hurdles with wins at Taunton and Ludlow respectively the latter will appreciate the return to this grade. Adjutant makes his hurdles debut and should be noted in the market although he doesn’t make immediate appeal as a hurdler. MISS MUMTAZ suffered an unfortunate experience on her debut but given time and a speed test last time out she showed what she could do over hurdles.
  1. Miss Mumtaz
  2. Petit Palais
  3. Peppay Le Pugh
