Bourbon Borderline (5/4), Welsh Saint (4/1), Maitree Express (4/1), The Swagman (6/1), Avoid De Master (10/1), Numitor (14/1), Hostile (16/1), Thegallantway (18/1), Fenrir Binding (50/1), Samtara (50/1), Galtee Mountain (125/1), Kandula (200/1), Mello Yello (200/1)

Verdict

The Swagman and Welsh Saint have the pick of the form of those to have raced with the former probably achieving more in a hot race at Newbury. Avoid De Master and Bourbon Borderline are winning point-to-pointers from yards who have won his previously, whilst Hostile is from a bumper winning family and his trainer has been enjoying some luck in these events recently. MAITREE EXPRESS also has a good pedigree and his trainer's record here in bumpers is hard to fault. He is Richard Johnson's only ride of the day and that is a hint worth taking.
  1. Maitree Express
  2. Bourbon Borderline
  3. The Swagman
