Verdict

Although out of form over the larger obstacles FIT TO BE TIED won his last start over hurdles two years ago in a Limerick novice hurdle beating Logical Song - who went on to be rated 123 - 1½L. The seven-year-old could outrun his odds in the Champion hurdle winning colours and see off the attentions of the John Kiely-trained Brave Out and the improving Fiveaftermidnight. The Charles Byrnes gelding Hareth should not be easily discounted.
  1. Fit To Be Tied
  2. Brave Out
  3. Fiveaftermidnight
