Verdict

Not the strongest race as racing gets going again after the recent enforced break but GORGEOUS GENERAL looks to have a fair opportunity to regain the winning thread over a trip he looks a little unexposed at. Anything that is lightly-raced from the Mick Appelby camp is always of interest and he runs Qallaab who makes his handicap debut off a reasonable mark although there is a slight question mark over the trip. Liamba has proved herself on this surface and should provide the main danger with most of the others having plenty to prove on recent form.
  1. Gorgeous General
  2. Liamba
  3. Qallaab
