Verdict

An unappealing contest in betting terms with question marks over all the runners. A chance is taken that the reappearance of the cheekpieces (worn for both his course wins) will spark a revival over this slightly longer trip for STREET POET. Berlusca is no stranger to winning around here but most of those victories came in his younger days. Pike Corner Cross has work to do at the weights while this trip may just stretch Anif. Red Touch isn’t the most straightforward but he looks to be working his way back to form and can’t be ignored in this grade with the assistance of Luke Morris a plus.
