Verdict

Although he didn’t pull up any trees JAMES STREET was thought good enough to contest the Acomb Stakes at York as a juvenile his one try over 7f. That may well have been flying too high but back over 6f returning from wind surgery he regained his form with a 6f win before narrowly failing to follow up last time over the same trip with K Club and Deep Intrigue behind. The former of that duo will continue to look vulnerable off this mark but the latter will be dangerous if he’s handed an easy lead after a contested pace spoilt his chance last time. The Archie Watson pair also look a little exposed with Beleagurement making most appeal although he may need 7f in the near future.
