Verdict

A rare bumper that sees no entry from the champion trainer but enough to ensure a betting check is required on Duca Di Milano, who must improve on form but get Patrick Mullins' assistance this time. RUN WILD FRED sets the standard having finished third in a Listed Navan bumper last month and should have plenty to say for the in-form Gordon Elliott team now. Point-to-point winner Ificudiwud, also in the Gigginstown silks, is a likely danger with Noel Meade's bumper runners performing well. Fiddlerontheroof must learn from his Limerick debut third a fortnight ago and will be on the premises if doing so.
  1. Run Wild Fred
