Verdict

Not a deep race in terms of quality. Valkenburg is a keen sort who could be reasonably treated on his handicap debut, although one would be slightly cautious about him at present given his last couple of fairly modest efforts over timber. Magic Of Milan is no star but will more than likely win a race somewhere eventually over this kind of trip, whilst Silk Or Scarlet must enter the equation after side-stepping an engagement at Newcastle on Saturday (ground). However, the tentative vote is for the unexposed KARAMOKO with the 8lb claim of Danny McMenamin the decisive factor in making that decision.
  1. Karamoko
  2. Silk Or Scarlet
  3. Magic Of Milan
