Verdict

CLOUDY GLEN may well have been given a soft lead when winning at Haydock but he still won in good style and goes unpenalised here, in fact rider Hugh Nugent can claim 1lb more of his allowance here than he did last time out. If this doesn’t come too soon he should be able to dominate this field and build on Venetia Williams winning run. Caswell Bay has already shown some good form over hurdles although he has limited experience but the generous weight-for-age allowance will make him a threat. Mead Vale has put together two solid runs while he eased in grade and class Friday Night Light also enters the equation.
  1. Cloudy Glen
  2. Caswell Bay
  3. Friday Night Light
