Verdict

Some useful mares’ have won this contest and MIA’S STORM could well be adding her name to that roll of honour having shown some smart form over hurdles and fences before a couple of chasing falls made connections abort her fencing exploits. She still has plenty of potential and targets to aim for in this sphere and will enjoy the ground plus her advantage at the weights on official ratings. If You Say Run has come up just short the last twice she has been tried at this level and higher but there was a lot to like about her comeback run and she provides the main danger. Both Whatzdjazz and Culture De Sivola have to prove themselves at this level and should battle for the minor place.
