Verdict

Valkenburg made all to score here on the Flat and was placed on another visit. The front-runner should have his own way and has place claims at least. Frame Rate finished ahead of him at Musselburgh but it could be different around here. That form did look suspect, however, and preference is for the McCain newcomer LIVA who will appreciate the predicted good ground and was one of the highest rated on the Flat having won twice. Dagian is another Flat winner on debut for a new yard, whilst Travel Lightly was a remote fourth in better company but was only rated 51 on the Flat and that may be a more accurate reflection of her ability.
