Verdict

This is by far the weaker of the two divisions, but unlike the first throws up a live contender with proven fitness. NATIVEGETAWAY represents the in form Tizzard yard and drops in class having contested a Class 2 event at Cheltenham recently. On that evidence the shorter trip here will be in his favour. Dual winning pointer Easyrun De Vassy fetched a six-figure sum having won two ordinary contests but has joined a top yard. Paxman achieved more between the flags on his sole start recording the fastest time of the day by 12 seconds. With his yard 1-45 in the past two weeks he may be one for the future.
  1. Nativegetaway
  2. Easyrun De Vassy
