Verdict

This could be a launch pad for BRELAN D'AS to get his season off to a flyer. The gelding has to give weight away all round but has taken on a better calibre of opponent than most of his rivals and, given that he can go well fresh, the mount of Barry Geraghty has plenty going for him in his bid to shrug off top weight. Amoola Gold is on a fair mark and looks progressive enough to pose a serious threat, while any rain would bring Kings Monarch into the argument too.
