Verdict

No standout contender, but a few with logical chances on recent form including the lowly-rated Instingtive, and the reasonably weighted Romulus Du Donjon, albeit that 7yo Rose Dobbin-trained grey did turn in a tepid effort at Ayr just nine days ago. Therefore, in the interests of a truly sporting selection, we'll take aim at CALIVIGNY. Nick Alexander hasn't saddled too many runners so far this autumn (stable form is an unknown) but this 9yo has had wind surgery since his last start at Perth in May and there's no denying that he's potentially thrown-in off a reduced mark of 104 based upon his previous (2017) C&D form.
  1. Calivigny
  2. Romulus Du Donjon
  3. Instingtive
