Verdict

GLOBAL CITIZEN proved a very high class novice hurdler last year after switching to this yard even taking into account his disappointment at Aintree. He is around a 33/1 chance for the Champion Hurdle and if he is to have any chance there he should be able to win this. Giving 15lb to progressive Magic Dancer however will not be easy with that rival also having the benefit of a recent run and a good one at that. Divin Bere didn't recapture his form for Nicky Henderson last season but a wind-op and subsequent flat win offer hope he now can.
