Verdict

SHUHOOD and Carouse are closely matched on Flat form having been rated considerably higher than their rivals. The latter is with a yard that do well here and indeed have landed this race twice in recent years. The selection represents the same connections as Jack Reagan who made an impressive hurdling debut at Market Rasen recently. His yard have a good track record with hurdlers here and merits the selection given a perceived fitness advantage over his chief rival.
