Verdict

Christian Wall has landed the last two runnings with Syrian Pearl who appeared to be coming to hand on her latest outing. The booking of William Buick for the enigmatic Hans Solo Berger is an intriguing move given the rider's record for the yard. Mick Appleby has Saturday's winner Case Key lining up without a penalty and Saaheq who has breezed to two victories and who is potentially still ahead of the handicapper. C&D winner Socialites Red and Casterbridge are down to their last winning marks, whilst OPERATIVE is well-handicapped, running into form and likes the track so gets the vote with De Sousa booked by his in-form trainer.
  1. Operative
  2. Socialites Red
  3. Saaheq
