Verdict

HATCHER has won four on the spin in maiden/novice company and makes his handicap debut now for the Skelton team with plenty in his favour. The front-running sort has a game attitude and won't be easily overhauled here. That said, the big danger is surely Cause Toujours, who followed up a Kempton win in May by scoring at Aintree the following month. He's been off since but Ian Williams' charge is unbeaten since his wind operation and merits plenty respect up 7lb. Top-weight John Constable has won over C&D but needs to bounce back return to hurdling while New Agenda could go well at a price on handicap bow.
