Odds-on Salisbury winner
Cap Francais sets the benchmark for the others to aim towards, and he's fully respected. However, in a race which features a number of expensively purchased (and well bred) juveniles, he can be taken on because of the softer conditions underfoot. Roger Varian is doubly-represented with
Fabriano and
Prefontaine, whilst the ever feared John Gosden sends
Red Centre north for his racecourse debut. However, a real chance is taken on the Karl Burke-trained
OAK PARK who should be an awful lot wiser for his first sight of a racecourse at Carlisle, and he could represent some sporting each-way value in an open looking novice.
