It is very hard to ignore the claims of VAN GERWEN who bounced back to form with a good win at Beverley last time and goes particularly well here and has bagged stall 3. Wrenthorpe is a three-year-old on the upgrade and is sure to end up better than this mark in time and is very much feared. The draw has not been kind to the bang in-form Round The Island but if they go quick up front, he may well be finishing best of all and is dangerous to dismiss.
