A race which almost certainly rests between last week's Kempton 1/2
SWORDBILL and
General Zoff. The latter is fitted with cheekpieces for the first-time and has Silvestre de Sousa in the saddle, but despite meeting the Ian Williams-trained rival on much better terms, isn't fancied to reverse placings. Swordbill has proved to be a revelation since fitted with cheekpieces and switched to the AW, and should make it 4-4 under a 12lb penalty hot on the heels of a weekend win at Chelmsford.
