Verdict

A race in which there is no obvious standout contender, as appeared the case in Division 1 35 minutes earlier. However, the advice is similar enough in that the top-weight WELD AL EMARAT is the selection. He is lightly raced for his age, and lost little in defeat off a five month break at Chepstow latest (despite being a beaten 6/4f). The forecast softer conditions underfoot should prove to his liking, and he can be expected to be sharper for that outing. That said; stakes are best played small, as there are plenty of other realistic alternatives including Carnageo, Glorious Poet, Inglorious, and the blossoming weekend Musselburgh scorer Lucky Violet.
  1. Weld Al Emarat
  2. Carnageo
  3. Lucky Violet
