Verdict

A competitive handicap hurdle albeit a low-grade one to end the season at Cartmel with two winner’s from Saturday’s card trying to follow-up in Toosey (back over hurdles) and Xpo Universel (over a longer trip); both look to have harder tasks. For Jim for the Candlish team is one to watch in the market as is Equus Pandora from last year’s winning stable (Peter Bowen) while What A Game bids to add to his already sound course record. JUSTATENNER looks to have the best credentials of all though having won over C&D and then looked rather unfortunate when slipping on the home turn here last time and only being defeated narrowly; he should be able to make amends off his new mark.
  1. Justatenner
  2. For Jim
  3. What A Game
