Verdict

An intriguing three-year-old handicap this and the unexposed GATEWAY gets the nod for the all-conquering Mark Johnston team. He displayed a likable attitude at Ayr and should have more to come with this return to 1m likely to suit. Christopher Wood is rated the main danger after some decent efforts earlier in the year and Michael Bell's gelding should strip fitter today after having a break before his last race. Bhodi is of interest and looks the sort who will reward Sir Michael Stoute's patience eventually, one suspects we haven't yet seen the best of this colt.
